A Viagra Bus

Following on from the last post; the staff also came up with the idea of a complete re-branding of the new service, including changing the colour of the ambulances to a pretty shade of light blue. The service would be known as ERECT.

They even came up with a Nu-Labour slogan.

Feeling a bit down? Dial 999 and get ERECT

ERECT: Eastern Region Emergency Care Trust.

Do you know what’s going to happen in terms of control rooms now?
EAAT’s control is in Norwich, BHAPS is in Bedford and Essex’s is in Chelmsford. That’s a hell of a gap to fill, and I don’t think they would really build a new one.

the south central amulance service was originally branded the south central ambulance trust – or SCAT for short…

We wanted Central Region Ambulance and Paramedic Service….

Instead we changed from EMAS (East Midlands Ambulance Service) to er er EMAS (East Midlands Ambulance Service).
